Elijah creates a new indoor pool at his school

“Principal Jones?” Elijah asked him politely.

“What? Uhh… Yes, Elijah?” he said, feeling a bit rushed. “Speak up, boy! I’m in a bit of a hurry!”

“Oh, but you’ll make the time to listen to me, sir!” Elijah said.

Mr. Jones then calmed down and visibly became willing to take all the time he needed to listen to the boy.

“Yes, Elijah? What can I do for you, my boy?”

“Mr. Jones? I was thinking… Since these old classrooms were going to be demolished over the summer… Why couldn’t we get a swimming pool here, on the same spot as these rooms? It’s so hot right now… Having a pool would be such a cool thing for our school, don’t you agree?” Elijah said convincingly.

Mr. Jones just stared at the boy. Something just made him totally agree with him. He just couldn’t say no to him! What was going on?

“Uhhh… Well, of course Elijah! Umm… That is a wonderful idea! But… We don’t have the money to pay for the construction of a whole new indoor pool! I mean, that would cost millions! I mean…” Mr. Jones replied.

“Oh, don’t worry, Mr. Jones. The new pool will be completely FREE! I’ll build it for you!” Elijah grinned. “Would you accept it if the pool were free?”

Some weird, outside **** compelled him to agree with the boy. He couldn’t resist!

“Uhh… Yes, why, of course I would accept it if the pool were free!” he replied.

“VERY COOL!” Elijah cheered, as he raised his arms into the air. “We’re getting a new pool!!”

All the other kids were standing around, wondering what Elijah was talking about. Even Alex began to wonder if Elijah had lost his mind.

“Uhhh… Eli… What the heck are you talking about? WHAT new pool?” Alex asked his friend.

“THAT NEW POOL!” Elijah shouted, as he spun around and pointed his fingers at the empty classrooms.

Suddenly, the walls of the old classrooms started to crumble while the ground started to shake!

“EARTHQUAKE!!!” one of the kids screamed.

“EVERYBODY ON THE FLOOR!!!” another boy shouted.

Everybody leaped on the floor… except Elijah! He just stood there, with his right hand extended and his finger pointed at the classrooms. The floor caved in, swallowing all the chairs and tables in the rooms. The hole in the rooms grew bigger and deeper, causing the walls between the rooms to collapse as well. Soon, the three classrooms became one BIG room, and the outside wall collapsed as well.

Then, a huge hole continued to swallow everything like a sinkhole! The hole grew bigger and longer and deeper until it suddenly stopped. The hole was much bigger than the three classrooms as it extended past the edge of the three rooms as well. Then, the big hole suddenly straightened out and became a big, deep rectangle. The walls of the hole were now filled with ceramic tiles and the floor of the hole was now filled with concrete.

Next, the floor surrounding the hole had now transformed into nice tile and a concrete edge around it. Nice aluminum ladders formed on each edge of the big hole, leading into it. Suddenly, three long, tall diving boards appeared on the deep end of the hole as well. The walls around the old classroom then started to grow longer and taller… as a large room formed surrounding the big, tiled hole.

Finally, big metal beams formed over the tops of the high walls and a large, glass ceiling covered the entire, large room. Clear, sweet water started pouring from several spouts, filling the big, rectangular hole as a water pump started running as well. Within minutes, the hole became filled with water and some chemicals to keep the water clean, like chlorine. And, the final result was… A large, indoor pool with diving platforms and a large, glass ceiling!

“Oh…. My… God!” Mr. Jones gasped, as he witnessed the pool form before his very eyes.

Suddenly, a blow horn appeared in his hands!

“Now, Mr. Jones, please speak in the blow horn and repeat after me!” Elijah instructed. “All classes have been canceled today!”

“ALL CLASSES HAVE BEEN CANCELED TODAY!” Mr. Jones shouted into the blow horn.

“Everybody come to the new pool for an afternoon swim!” Elijah instructed.

“EVERYBODY COME TO THE NEW POOL FOR AN AFTERNOON SWIM!”

Elijah then waved his hand and every single student, who was standing in the hallway, suddenly found him or herself dressed wearing either his Speedo or swimming trunks or her bikini or swimsuit!

“Let’s go swimming!” Elijah cheered, since he was also wearing his swimming trunks now.

Then all the kids rushed into the new indoor aquatic center and dove into their new pool, enjoying their afternoon without any classes so they could spend the whole afternoon swimming, all thanks to the teen God named Elijah…
