Adam sat in the den in his house, leaning back in a chair with his feet up on his computer desk, contemplating the situation. Obviously, that's a big part of being God, right? he thought. Being the last word on morality for the world. I wonder what the best way to do this is. Maybe go way back and alter the Ten Commandments, or...

A male voice came from behind him. "It seems like you're thinking about changing the world."

A female voice followed immediately. "Would you like some assistance?"

He dropped his legs off the desk and whirled around. There, in his den, stood two angels -- blonde hair, stunningly good-looking faces, white robes, wings folded against their backs, halos hovering a few inches above their heads giving off a dim yellowish glow. The only difference was that one appeared to be male and the other appeared to be female.

"Greetings, I am Abelian," said the male.

"And I am Legemma," said the female, pronouncing the name with a soft "G."

"Don't worry, your wife and children cannot hear us as we talk," Abelian assured him. "They will not awaken."

"I suppose we should congratulate you on being named the God of this reality," said Legemma.

"And you're the angels who are gonna help me out with my godly powers?" Adam asked.

"Precisely," Abelian told him. "Now, while you do indeed have the power to change reality itself, that's actually a bit advanced for you to start with."

"I understand," said Adam. "It's just that when the powers flowed into me, I suddenly understood myself better than I ever have before, and I came to the realization that I have these feelings, these desires, but I also have the means to act upon these desires without consequence -- I mean, I'm sure the two of you understand, at least to an extent, correct?

The two angels looked at each other briefly, then back at Adam. Legemma said, "Actually, it has been millennia since we lived as humans. As angels, we are perfect beings, rather than creatures of biology."

They both lifted up their robes, and Adam let out an involuntary gasp when he saw their crotches -- both were perfectly smooth, with no genitalia. Legemma went further, pulling down the top of her robe to reveal that although she had the form of medium-sized breasts on her chest, they had no nipples.

"So you guys must not even eat, right?" Adam asked. "If you don't have any holes down there..."

"We eat a substance called ambrosia and drink a sweet nectar," replied Legemma. "But we do not need to excrete any waste from it."

"Well, that's all crazy," said Adam. "I mean, I'm sure you're supposed to feel good from helping people, answering prayers, and stuff like that, but come on -- there's so much pleasure in sex, and in eating things other than 'ambrosia,'. I want you to try it."

Adam felt something briefly exude from his body, almost as if he'd given off an electrical charge, and he realized what it was -- he'd just used his power.

The angels realized it, too.
