Evening conversations

Zack looked around at all his friends as the credits started to roll at the end of the movie. Everyone was back, apparently Lisa, Taylor, Kurt and Brandon had all returned without him noticing. He looked at Lisa and Taylor's faces, but couldn't see anything wrong, so he shrugged his shoulders and tried to forget about Lisa's open invitation. When the movie was over and Gavin removed the disc from the player, the room broke out in conversation. Chloe went to go speak to Gavin while Heather, Lisa, Taylor and Ashley chatted on their sofa. Vicky joined in with Gavin and Chloe's conversation, leaving Zack to chat with Heather, as Brandon and Kurt went off on their own. "So Zack, you Ok with what Lisa and Taylor did?"

"What did Taylor have to do with it? I thought Lisa, Brandon, and Kurt..." Heather shook her head

"Look at her face. She's practically glowing, believe me, she's been fucked."

Zack saw that both Kurt and Brandon had disappeared "Was it your boyfriend?" He asked bitterly.

"I don't know who your talking about Zack? Which one?"

"Fuck you Heather!" Zack spat as he walked out of the cabin to stand on the deck.

"Look to me like your brother knows something's up." Hannah noted as she watched Zack storm out of the cabin.

"He might not know, he might be mad about Lisa." Taylor said hopefully looking at Lisa for confirmation.

Lisa shook her head "we had an agreement. He understands about myself, he's pissed because of you Taylor, no doubt about it."

"Damn it! Stay away from my brother Hannah."

"You remember the bet Taylor, you broke it, so I get any boy I want." Hannah said smugly.

"Well shit!" Taylor sunk into the couch cushions "I did say that didn't I. I thought you would have been the one to break the deal."

"I was close to. It's good you did what you did when you did."

"Wait a minute. Who fucked you Taylor?" Ashley asked. Hannah and Taylor exchanged a worried glance, Hannah had already guessed who, and it seemed like Ashley had too.

"Brandon." Taylor said softly

"That son of a bitch!" Ashley whispered vehemently.

"Taylor, I'll deal with this. You go deal with your brother." Hannah said as she dragged Ashley away for a private conversation.

Lisa joined Taylor as she walked towards Zack "I'll be there for you Taylor."

"Thanks Lisa." They walked past Heather who was still sitting alone where Zack left her, but she gave a couple of thumbs up to the girls concerned looks as they walked by. Taylor and Lisa walked out on the deck and found Zack leaning against the banister looking out at the lake "beautiful view huh Zacky?"

"It sure is Taylor. Hey Lisa, thanks for coming, but I'm calmed down enough. I won't say anything stupid."

"Good. I'll spectate then."

"So, which one Taylor?" Zack said as he turned back to the calming sight of the lake "please tell me it wasn't Kurt."

"It wasn't Kurt Zack."

"Then Brandon? Poor Ashley. How's she dealing with that?" He asked them both

"Hannah's talking with her." Lisa replied.

"So, how about we forget this ever happened Taylor?" Zack turned around and stared into his sister's eyes.

"You jealous Zack?" Lisa teased.

"You know as well as I that I love my sister Lisa. I don't want anyone to hurt her that's all." Zack said as he turned around from them to hide his blush. Lisa was surprised by Zack's answer, he had never been the kind of guy to show hi love to his sister, was he actually jealous of Brandon? Lisa looked at Taylor and was surprised to see blush disappear from Taylor's face as she lowered her eyes. Tonight was going to be interesting!
