After a few minutes of sitting next to the fire with Oren, you decide to go bathe. You stand up looking to Oren and see he's fast asleep next to the fire. You leave, Oren to sleep alone while you bathe. You once again exit the cave to head to the creek, creeping past the black pup as you go.

At the creek that still over flows from the melting snow, you stand at the edge of the bank, where the water meets the gravel. You drop the pelt blanket and pull your undergarments off revealing yourself to the cool air. You slowly step into the frigid cold waters and stop about calf high letting your legs adjust to the temperature. You remember the cold splash of buckets of water that the guards would toss at you. As if reliving the memory, you flinch, momentarily expecting to be doused once more. You shake the memory from your head, and start to bathe yourself. You scoop handfuls of water and toss them at your chest then rubbing it in letting the dry blood rub away. You trace your hand down your stomach feeling the scars, causing you to lose yourself in yet another memory. A cracking whip, blood on your hands, pain. You shake your head again

"Stop it!" you say to yourself.

You walk deeper into the creek, until the water is knee high, trying to pull your mind back into place with the cold water. You look up to the sky closing your eyes then slowly inhaling, and as you lower your head you exhale. Once you've released your breath you slowly open your eyes again.

A woman stands in front of you about 5 feet away from you, thigh deep in the water. You freeze not from the cold, nor the sudden woman appearing, but who the woman is. You know her face. Blonde of hair, gray eyes, and with the beautiful body of a girl just grown into a woman, her breasts full and perky, and her body smoothed out to perfection. Young and beautiful. We knew each other a long time ago.
