See what the Avengers are up to.

Peter knew that he hadn't heard anything on the police frequencies about any of his old rogues or possible new villains. Which meant, knowing the old Parker Luck (patent pending), that there was some kind of world ending threat in the works right now that was just waiting for him to put down his guard.

Ever since he'd joined the Avengers, Peter had always felt that one of the unsaid perks of the job was the camaraderie he got to establish with some of the best heroes and heroines in all the world. Everyone from Captain America to Wolverine, Black Widow to Scarlet Witch, these were all some of the people he came closest to calling friends in his life of entirely primary colored tights.

As he finally made his way through a window near the top of the tower but beneath Stark's penthouse room, he called out to the artifical butler system in the tower.

"Hey there Jarvis. There any emergencies right now?"

An artificial voice modeled after Tony Stark's now deceased butler Edwin Jarvis answered him with a soothing british accent.

"There hasn't been any emergency signal activated on official or unofficial channels within the last week Spider-man."

That very much brought Peter up short. He couldn't help but get the feeling that he was missing something important. As he walked down the plushly carpeted hallways toward one of the sitting rooms, he asked another question.

"Are any of the other Avengers here?"

As Peter came closer to the sitting room, he thought he heard female voices talking. He thought he heard Wanda Maximoff's slavic accent somewhere in there. Or maybe it was Natasha? But then there was another female voice talking as well. That laugh: he'd recognize it anywhere. That dulcet tone could only belong to Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman. Well, that and the feeling of tightly repressed pheromones in the air that he'd come to recognize from his fellow arachnid themed hero. Though that did bring up the question of where Carol was if her best friend Jess was already here.

As he said "Never mind, I'll see in a second." to Jarvis who had begun to answer him, Peter walked straight into the sitting room without a thought that he could be interrupting anything. After all, without some kind of crisis, who could possibly blame him for wanting to relieve his boredom by talking to some of the few people who didn't have too much of a problem with his chatterbox nature?
