John had been wondering the mall for the better part of the day. It was his second loop around when he noticed the Costume Shop hidden away in one of the nooks of the mall. Unlike the rest of the mall the door was closed and there were curtains that covered the display window.

He walked in and felt as though he was transported to a classic costume shop. Everything was on hangers and there were multiple aisles with a variety of costumes. None of them were cheaply made either.

An older couple sat behind counter playing chess against each other. "A customer," said the man.

"What is the occasion?" asked the woman.
