Arriving in Arlheim.

“What if someone saw us?” Catherine asks for twentieth time. Uklag stops and pushes his index finger on her temple. “Look. I destroyed all containers of oil that were on the ship. If the fire didn’t keep their eyes away from us then the night made it too hard for them to make out who we are. Yes I did lower my staff, yes the light was off and as you know we dumped the safety boat a few days ago and sent it to the bottom of the river. What more could you ask off?”

Catherine mutters something but gets silent when they see a structure in the distance. Made out of high stone walls the interior is mostly hidden from the trio’s spying eyes, only a few towers peak over the walls, watching the surroundings.

“Let’s get off the street.” Uklag says and walks over the nearby plain. They find an old, burned out house about three hours away from Arlheim. From the looks of it had once been the house of a rather wealthy farmer. “We can just as well sleep outside, Master.” Catherine says, “The roof is pretty much non-existent and the walls could fall over from the next gust of wind.”

“True, but these often have….Alratha you are the best.” The assassin smiles, “I know.” Under the confused look of Catherine the two open a door in the ground that was hidden under several layers of ashes, dust and plants. They get down and find a small wine cellar.

“Mhm, I will have to clean this mess up.” Uklag illuminates the dank cellar, broken bottles lie all around the place, only a few remained in their meant place. “Not particularly big but it will suffice, Catherine you get to Arlheim, tell them that during the fire your prisoner escaped, if that knight survived I don’t want her to present another story first. Alratha, you go as well, I need some information’s about this place.”

The two nod and get to their respective jobs as Uklag carves a first rune into the stone floor.
