Axe and Sayen

As Axe and Sayen finished their work, Axe plopped down in a chair, looking exhausted.

"Oh don't tell me you are wiped out already?" Sayen taunted.

"Long day with the hike and all..." he replied.

"So you won't be joining me at the other cabin?" she asked.

"Oh I supooooooose," Axe replied, laughing, standing up.

"Ok, I'll meet you outside, I need to go get Bianca," she replied, "Thanks Maxwell... and for your help too."

She smiled then ran up stairs.

Axe was surprised at her using his real name, from some it might sound like teasing, but from her it felt like she respected him, or was maybe even flirting with him. He could only hope. He watched her run up the stairs, shook his head and headed over to his cabin to grab a few things.

Sayen entered her room and saw Bianca stretched out on her bed.

"Axe and I are going to head down to the other cabin, I think Brian is there, do you want to join us?"

"Yeah, I promised Brian he and I would talk, give me a few and I'll join you," Bianca replied.

Sayen, Bianca, and Axe met up and headed to the other cabin, they joined Brian there. After a short talk, Brian grabbed a couple beers and he and Bianca left. Axe spoke up first.

"I'm sorry you have to entertain me again," Axe said to Sayen.

"Oh Maxwell, stop it, you are funny," Sayen responded.

Axe looked at her totally serious then spoke up...

"Funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to fuckin' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?"

"Damn..." Sayen responded, shocked.

"I'm so sorry," Axe responded freaking out, that's a movie quote, Goodfellas, I didn't mean..."

There was an awkward silence before Sayen burst out laughing.

"Oh my god, I thought... that was such good acting... why aren't you doing theatre?"

"Stage fright," Axe responded after an awkward pause.

"You really should be in theatre, I go to see all of Alex's shows," Sayen responded. "That was so good, I thought you were serious."

"Thanks," Axe snickered as he blushed then worried about her saying she went to see all of Alex's shows.
