Chapter 4 by ewong ewong

What is it?

Intimate Garage Sale

Missy couldn't believe it! On her lawn was a crowd of students, and a pile of what looked to be her clothes! As she got nearer, she noticed that it wasn't just any of her clothes, it was all her UNDERWEAR! Embarrassing childish cotton panties and training bras all the way to lacy bras and thongs filled the patch of grass in front of her home. Missy was about to tear up when she realized her main entrance was blocked. She immediately ran to her neighbor's backyard as Kristy laughed, letting her go.

Missy crept to the fence that joined her backyard and peeked over, hoping no one was there. She saw no one, but heard voices from the front appraising her unmentionables. Some made snide comments about her taste, while others were joking about buying them. Missy was relieved to hear no one wanted to buy her intimates, but that thought was derailed when she heard one of the cheerleaders say that they could have whatever they wanted for free!

Missy quickly hopped over the fence and ran to her back door. She was relieved to find it unlocked, but went upstairs to her too to find anything to wear before dispersing the crowd and saving what was left of her wardrobe.

As she opened her bedroom door, she was only mildly surprised to find her now FORMER best friend Janey sitting there on her bed.

"Hey..." Janey began, but was cut off.

"Did you know about this? Were you in on this plan?!" Missy was enraged. She clenched her fists as tears welled in her eyes.

Janey went to hug her naked friend, but Missy pushed her away.

"Answer me!" Missy cried.

"I-I'm sorry Em. I didn't know this would go this far. I tried to stop them, but they made me take off my underwear, and they were the first to be sold. If I didn't comply, they would have stripped me naked too."

"You could have been my friend and walked away from those bitches!" Now I'm the laughingstock of the entire school! I'm sure my mom will hear about it from the neighbors. I'm never going to forgive you!" Missy cried.

"- and that's the last pair! Wow, I guess Millie didn't want her clothes back. I wonder where she went. Maybe she's crying somewhere. Hahaha!" Kristy announced.

Misty heard it through her open window, and looked at Janey.

"You tricked me! You stalled me and now all my clothes are gone!" Missy wailed as she jumped onto her bed, the tears flowing freely now.

"Missy, I-" Janey began.

"Get out! Get out of my house and never come back!" Missy cried as Janey reluctantly left her friend to let her emotions out.

Janey left and relayed the events to the cheerleaders.

"Wow, even I'm not such a cold hearted bitch to stall my former friend so that all her clothes are stolen! Great job. Of course, this means you're one of us for sure!" Kristy said.

Janey joined the girls, but looked at the window to Missy's room, hoping to see that she was doing ok, but she didn't see anything.

Later that evening, Missy wrapped herself in her blanket and walked around her room, opening drawers and closets to see if there was anything left. She was heartbroken to only find socks, accessories, and shoes left. She made a toys out of one of her sheets and greeted her mother. She made shine excuse for her outfit, saying it was an early Halloween costume. She explained the odd garage sale as a need to get rid of old things to make room for new ones. However, she had no idea how she would go out to get anything since all she had was this sheet. After dinner, she locked herself in her room and retired to sleep, hoping the next day would be better. However, sleep wouldn't come. She was too angry and scared and violated to rest. She looked out her window, hoping something would happen that would make things better.

Janey couldn't get the events of the day out of her mind. She felt incredibly guilty for not getting her friend or even standing up to the cheerleaders. They certainly weren't the best kind of people, but they were her ticket to popularity. Perhaps if she went by her house tomorrow and gave a few things, it might make things better. Sighing, she lay in bed, looking at the sky and hoped something would happen that would make things better.

Just then, a steak of light crossed the night sky. A SHOOTING STAR! In a blink of an eye, it passed across the sky and was gone. Such a fleeting image, but one that was caught by these two friends who were at odds.

Janey made a wish to do whatever it took to mend things with Missy. Missy wished that Janey knew how she felt, and until she did, she wouldn't forgive her.

Just like that, a bargain had been made, and one that once it was made, was nearly impossible to break.

What happens in the morning?
