Chapter 69 by bastardlydastard bastardlydastard

Does it work?

Yes.

Kyra swiftly brings you the collar and steps back, no doubt anxious to get away from the demonic woman.

you carefully reach down and wrap the black steel of the collar around her neck.

The moment the lock shuts, you are gifted with an understanding of how the collar works. there are two command phrases to speak; for pleasure: " Scio Savitas" And for pain: "Scio Morsus". You can alter the intensity of the pain or pleasure doled out by adding the word "Magna" to increase it, or "Parvos" to decrease it. You can stop the collar from causing pain or pleasure entirely by speaking the word "Dormio".

You send Kyra to find some rope, and pull one of the heavy oaken tables over to yourself. When Kyra returns, you throw the still limp body of the succubus onto the table, and tie her in such a way that she is splayed out, and all of her limbs are immobile. Then you set about gagging her, ensuring she cannot use magic again.

During this time Kyra plies you with questions about how you managed to escape the succubus' magic. You tell her of the vision of the dragon, and though she is surprised, she can offer no further aid in understanding what happened to you.

For your part, you ask her who might want to see her captured, but she seems as baffled as you are.

Kyra later tells you that she will have to leave soon, as the queen will be expecting her back in the capital quite soon. You allow her to go, and after the two of you reapply the bonds on a struggling Cassandra, you part ways.

While sending Kyra off, you notice the wagon Cassandra and the mage-turned-demon arrived in. when you investigate it, you discover that it is almost entirely filled with books on magic. you decide to take them inside, thinking that Dorian may find them useful.

You finish bringing the books inside a few hours before dawn, and find yourself with nothing to do but wait for the succubus to wake up.

Then, the fun begins.
