As you entered the room you notice that Fiona and Devona seem saddened. You wonder if that means they rejected Queen Cielina’s offer… or even if it extended to them.

As you sit down in your throne, you motion for them to begin, Princess Elenwë Arinyagimli steps forward with a warm smile but arched eyebrow at Lady Vessa’s slightly rumpled dress. “Queen Cielina and I have agreed to join our candidacies, as polyamorous marriages are far from unheard of in Elileithel. However, Princess Kalisah, Lady Devona, and Lady Fiona O’Reilly have politely declined for religious reasons.”

This may have shocked you, had Lady Vessa failed to already inform you of her hypothesis.

However, there was a shock, though for Lady Akina more than you. The Elven Princess continues, “Queen Cielina informs me… informs me that her people have heard of what…” Arinyagimli seems to be stepping out of her depth and comfort zone and somewhat apprehensive about her conjecture.

Undoubtedly to Arinyagimli's mind, there was just as much chance that they were wrong in their suspicion. However, you smile warmly to her and silently ask her to continue.

Thus Princess Arinyagimli does exactly that:_ “Queen Cielina informs me that her people have heard of your relationship with the high mage of your court, Lady Vessa. We are more than willing to offer the same to her, especially given her previous ignorance of recent alchemical breakthroughs in Elileithel._”

Lady Akina blisters as she barks “From who? how?”

Queen Cielina arches her eyebrow at your master spy's interruption. “You really expect me to reveal Amazonian agents in your capital city of Ferelden? We may be at peace but Bryce has yet to make a decision, in addition Ferelden is quickly gaining in popularity as a major economic hub for Thessia. Our agents are far more interested in other unknown states than the one their Queen prays to become a member of.”

You still find the change in candidacy as odd because such a marriage is literally unheard of in known whole of Itheria's History, let alone the history of the royal and noble families.

It is a small gift from the Gods that you in fact kept the daughters of your nobility from this stage of selection. Queen Cielina and Princess Arinyagimli have both diplomatically and metaphorically tied your metaphysical hands. The fallout from this decision will already shape your entire family legacy
