The next morning

I wake up around mid-morning the next day, staying in bed for a little while, and then I get out of bed, putting on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, then wander out to the kitchen.

The house is very quiet, and I walk around looking for Millie but as I don't find her I get myself some milk and cereal and sit down at the kitchen table for breakfast, and as I am finishing I hear a car pull into the drive way, and a few seconds later Millie comes into the kitchen carrying a few bags of groceries.

"Oh, great, you're awake." She says and flashes me a big smile when she sees me sitting at the table.

"Do you want some coffee?"
