"Can I join you?"

I say with a lot of hope in my voice.

Millie turns around and looks at me with a smile, then wags her finger at me saying:

"Behave yourself young man."

Then she winks at me and says:

"Sweet dreams, Matt."

"Good night Millie." I say, hoping that I sound cool and calm about it.

I sit for a while and watch TV, and then I go to my room, get undressed and turn off the lights, but it takes me quite a while to go to sleep as my mind digests the interesting events of the day.
