Appease Rebecca by taking her to meet Anastasia

You accept Rebecca's hand with practiced grace and put a pleasing expression on your face after she lifts you to your feet. At first glance, Rebecca isn't much to look at aside from the particular development of her figure, but she's surprisingly strong. Her hand holds tight to yours.

"Well, Rebecca, you said you wanted to meet my sister? Shall we seize the hour?"

Rebecca nods. Her cheeks glow pink -- a blush? excitement? -- you're not quite sure.

You and Rebecca pick up your luggage -- she still doesn't let go your hand -- and you march from the dock up the hill toward the stone hulk of Boarbristle Academy.

You and Rebecca await Anastasia in the visitors' antechamber of House Draconis, richly decorated in green, gold, and red, with one wall depicting the House's emblematic Green Dragon, personifying Ambition -- the conjunction of Desire, Significance, and Opportunity. You convince Rebecca to let go of your hand so you can bring her a cup of tea.

"Mother used to tell me that a cup of tea was sovereign against all manner of ills," you tell Rebecca. "I'm apt to believe her, but I'm not sure Anastasia would agree."

This coaxes a laugh out of Rebecca. Her eyes wander the paintings, portraits, and decorations, many of them magically animated or revealing greater depth when a visitor's attention rests upon them for more than a moment. Truth to tell, you find them just as interesting.

Finally Anastasia arrives.
