Get the shoes back

Anna walked around the mud puddle and squatted down to pull her shoes out of the mud. The shoes were very well stuck, but after a good bit of pulling, she got one out. The mud caked on the bottom and sides of the shoe would not look very pretty, but it's better than injuring her feet. Anna began pulling on the other shoe when she heard something.

Bzzzzz

Anna was startled as a bee flew towards her. Letting out a welp, Anna reached her hands up and swatted at the bee. This was a bad idea as Anna had now lost her balance. Flailing her arms, she fell front first into the mud puddle where her shoe was.

Slowly climbing out, Anna surveyed the damage.

"Ew, at least this is good for my skin." Looking at her socks, "There's no way I'm getting my shoes on with this much mud on my socks."

Anna removed her socks and reluctantly decided to leave them here.
