You expected things the next day to be awkward between you and Countess Marissa. However, during breakfast she acted like nothing happened and her general attitude was the same as yesterdays. Gratitude, but little more than that. Perhaps it was, as she said, a reward for your troubles.

Your entourage is ready to leave by lunchtime and the Countess and her husband come out to bid you farewell. The Count bows gratefully, but Countess Marissa walks up to you and presses her hands to your chest and kisses your cheek, "Thank you, for everything Your Majesty."

Both you and the count look surprised by the kiss, but he doesn't seem jealous. You suspect that he thinks the kiss was just a simple kiss of gratitude, "You're welcome Countess Marissa. If you ever need help, you know where to find me."

She nods, "I do."

So you leave your adventures at Luxem Castle. It was certainly exciting, but you're pleased with the outcome. Now begins the long, three day journey back home.The trip goes as uneventfully as the trip down and you don't make it back to the castle until nighttime. Whether from the trip, or from everything that's happened. You certainly don't mind going straight to bed and sleeping and so you do.

The next day you wake up and head off to court and see a familiar face heading towards you. Her curly hair bouncing with her steps and a fancy green dress adorned her body. Lady Victoria wraps her arms around you and gives you a kiss, "Your Majesty. How went your trip?"

You return her embrace, "It was...exciting."

"I heard from some of the men that you fought a succubus. She wasn't prettier than i am, was she?" She gives you a cute pouty face.

"Of course she wasn't." You grin and her expression perks up.

"Well, if you want....Maybe we could have a little bit of fun before you go to court."

you mull it over, "I'm already running a little late. It would have to be fast."

She leans against the wall and eyes you seductively, "So make it fast."
