Dismiss Sarah

"Sarah, you can go. I'm sorry you had to see this."

Sarah quickly flees the scene while Marissa groans, "Aww, come on."

You look at her, "You'd really be fine with that?"

She shrugs, "Of course, all sorts of things turn me on."

You sigh, "what if she got pregnant?"

"Clearly I'm already pregnant with your firstborn. It wouldn't be a problem." she slides her hands along her belly.

You amend your statement, "Okay. What if she got pregnant with a boy and you're pregnant with a girl? Sure, he would be a bastard, but he could cause trouble if I was to die prematurely and she manages to convince enough people that he's mine. She is my personal servant."

She sighs, "Perhaps you're right, love." Disappointed, she wanders out of the room.

The next day you announce at court that Marissa is pregnant and that the succession is safe. Most of the people are happy, but you notice that Lady Vessa looks extremely discontent. You wonder how long it'll be until she tries something.
