Don't stop, and go through the back gate

After two additional days of traveling you arrive at Lord Richard's Manor. You look at it from the treeline, dusk has fallen and you see the main gate is guarded by men you don't recognize...

From the few times you traveled here as a child you know that back hidden gate is always guarded by Richard's most experienced troops because it leads straight to the castle keep. You know Richard's bodyguard are more likely to have fought in the last battle and be loyal to you.

As you approach the back gate you notice that Captain Turtus is the guard. Turtus was stationed as one of your guards during the last war and is known to be one of your biggest supporters.

As you approach the gate you cry out, "Good Morning Turtus and may the light forever Shine gratefully on you."

Turtus smiles, recognizing the code phrase you used during the war. "Good morning my young prince and may the light forever shine on your rule.... guards open the gate!" You smile at his comment as it has been a while since you have been recognized as a prince by any of the Soldiers.

As you enter he steps down from the tower to greet you. He looks at you happily and says, "Hope it wasn't much trouble getting here..."

"It was a bit..." you reply. "Any news?"

Looking around he says softly, "There was a man who asked about you yesterday.... He said Princess Alexa is coming and looking for you. Would you like me to tell him you are here?"
