"No... I'm sorry but my dear sister was captured by someone who means to have me killed. So if you would please keep my visit quiet..."

"As you wish my prince.... I will see that Lord Richards is informed of your presences as soon as possible, in the meantime, you have free access to his chambers."

He steps to the side and motions for you to walk forward into the door and down the hall.

Lord Richard's Chamber is only second to the king's. His grand fireplaces are well stocked and the queen size bed is covered with the finest linens money can buy.

Rachael looks around and notices the second fully dressed bed. She looks at you and asks, "I know this guy has money... but why two beds?"

You laugh and reply, "Well actually that's a funny story. My sister is not lord Richard's first wife. While he was with his first wife lord Richard was known to sleep with anything within sight.... It became so bad that even nobles from other kingdoms would not bring women with them when they visited to avoid having him "borrow" them for the night. After his second wife died and he announced his intention to marry my sister my father decreed that no women will sleep in the same bed as my sister.... so he got creative..."

You take a moment to pause "So after the marriage lord Richard built a second bed to handle his "needs". It took three months for my father to find out and he was enraged! But my sister defended lord Richard, and announced that she wanted it this way.... guess its nice to have him seek his fun elsewhere when she has her headaches..."

From behind you hear a feminine voice say "Now-now what did I say about speaking ill of my husband...."

You quickly turn around to see your sister Erika standing in the doorway. She is wearing a long red dress which matches most of the colors in the room.

"Well, it's true isn't it...?” You reply with a smirk

"That may be John... but he's not the only one who may have other desires....” She chuckles before producing an eerily straight face ,“On a serious note I do need your help brother...”

“What is it?”

“You remember that Richard adopted his older dead brother's two daughters at a young age right?”

There was a huge age gap between Lord Richard and his older brother Leonard. Leonard ran the manor before his wife and he passed away about 17 years ago in a shipping accident and he was survived by only his two daughters Margaret and Elizabeth, who were at the time of the accident, 9 and 5 respectively. Even though Margaret was your age she was always such a stuck up girly girl to be any fun when you were younger. Elizabeth was a tomboy and much more fun to be around... However, you have not seen them for 10 years ago, they regrettably were unable to make the trip to the capital for the wedding.

You nod in response.

“Elizabeth and I have always got along... but well... Margaret never liked me when we were younger and she outright hates me now. I fear with dad passing away and Uncle claiming the throne if I don’t produce an heir soon she will have me removed....”

You nod along, knowing full well that sounds like Sara. Your sister's story brings back memories of Margaret being a total bitch growing up.

Before her father died, she saw a boy with a toy at the local market. She quickly ran up to the nearest guard and told him that that boy stole the toy from her. The guard quickly retrieved the toy from the boy and gave it to her. That boy was whipped for days, and you found that toy in the garbage later that night.

Just as further proof of how terrible Margaret is, you have heard about multiple suitors trying for Elizabeth's hand... however never one for Margaret... IT infuriates her since she knows if she gets married and your sister does not produce a child she would inherit Richard's lands.

Erika looks over to Rachael as if questioning her presence here.

“My dear sister you don’t have to hold your tongue in front of her, she can be trusted.”

Erika nods her head before continuing “I fear the rumors are true... Richard is not able to produce an heir....” she takes a breath to think over what she is about to say before continuing, “So I was wondering if you would do it...”

Rachael is **** to bite her lips to prevent herself from laughing as you reply,

“Sis... why don’t you ask any of the local men to help?”

“I can’t... they are all loyal to Richard. I need someone loyal to me who will keep a secret and Richard is so paranoid that the only people I am allowed to see in private are my family and him. “
