The gentleman

He could feel her nearly nodding off as they kissed. After all of the emotional rollercoaster of the evening Kyle could see that Jaclyn would not last much longer. Despite now being rather awake he decided that she has had enough of a night that he should probably not push any further. Just as much as she was so afraid of ruining their friendship by telling him her secret he was also afraid that if he gave in to what he really wanted right now it would also ruin things.

“Hey, as much as I would like to continue this you look like you are about to pass out. Let’s get you to bed.”

Half awake she was still able to have some of her sass come through. “I confess my love for you and what do you try to do? Get me into bed”

Kyle thinks to himself that he should say ‘there is nothing I would rather do than just take you right now. After our years of being together and teasing each other there is just a bit of pent of tension.’ Though he opts for the safer response. “Now how would I ever live up to be the Good guy that you always tease me about if I did anything else but be a friend to you right now?”

As he was setting her down into her bed he helped her by taking off her shoes. Barely conscious she said “well Mr. Good Guy the least you can do is curl up and keep me warm tonight. " Seeing she had fallen asleep curled next to him plenty of times before on the couch he didn't see the harm in it now.

As he curled up to her and pulled the covers he whispered into her ear "you are right, I have been in loved with you all this time." Though he was certain she was fast asleep as he said this Jaclyn nestled her body deeper into his. He laid there for a while taking every sense in. He was glad that she was asleep at this point because the warmth of her body on his, the feeling of her satin dress pressed against him, the smell of her hair filling his nose, her being perfectly cuddled up into his body was driving him crazy. He did not know if he had ever felt himself this hard before. So badly Kyle wanted to do something with himself, with her, but he knew he shouldn't. He didn't want to ruin the chance of something real with her.
