Standing alone in the armory you process what you have just heard, you are to gear up, find a group of heroes and kill one of them, then return. Well first things first, the armor, walking around the armory you look trough the materials, sizes and functionality of the armor on display.

After much consideration you settle on a leather armor set, the material it's made from is Naga skin, making it as supple as your own scales but (trough a process unknown to you) a lot stronger. It won't make you invulnerable but it still gives more then a decent amount of protection.

After making sure the gear is the right size for you you set to putting it on, first the pants so you cover up your delicate parts. You decide against wearing boots, the claws to big an asset to cover up at the moment. After a few modifications the chest piece fits around your shoulders, leaving enough room for your wings to function properly. The wrist guards slip on without a problem and luckily the gloves stop halfway up your fingers leaving your claw-like nails open in case of a melee confrontation. Looking into the mirror nearby you see that the brown Naga scales blend pretty well with your own black scales.

Having the most crucial parts covered up you move over to the weapon department of the armory, your claws are decent you think, but if you are to take on one or more foes a weapon with at least a bit more range is a must have. Rummaging trough the racks filled with different weapons you make a list in your head, you won't be taking heavy weapons they would make flying to difficult. grabbing a few things that you think will be helpful you head back to the entrance and display them on an empty table, making an inventory list for yourself. Your chosen weapons are: a simple longbow and a short sword, also you have taken a quiver full of arrows, a flask filled with a liquid the voice in your head calls oil to light your arrows on fire. You proceed to swing the quiver over your shoulder between your wings, deciding that even tough you have the pouch you need to have a weapon ready so you will carry the bow in your hand. Sliding the oil and sword into the pouch you check your gear one last time before jumping into the air, unfolding your wings and flying out of the window.

The voice in your head guides you into a direction north-east and you set off. Taking in the scenery as you ride the wind towards your destination you notice that it is late in the evening, the sun is setting and soon it will be completely dark, "a good thing" you think. Below you is a wide forest in which you spot some monsters now and then, some on patrol some just wild beasts corrupted by your masters magic.

You fly this way for a few hours, the sky turning to night the moon rising high in the sky. Up in the distance you spot a faint glow between the trees, flying higher to get a better vantage point.
The light originates from a clearing in the wood, a campfire burning in the middle, tents scattered around it and two figures that seem to be sitting close to the fire.
