Chapter 135 by Duskford Duskford

Where will they decide to go?

To the movies

“I’m game,” Heather chirped. “Do you have something in mind?”

“Well,” Zack crossed his arms and looked at his beautiful companion. “I was thinking we could catch a movie. You know, at the theater?”

“Hmm,” Heather squinted one eye, cocking her head to the side. “Are you trying to ask me on a date, Zacky?” She asked with an amused smile on her face. The cheerleader captain knew she was there to distract Zack while the others worked on the ‘Victoria plan’, but she couldn’t help but tease Zachary. ”It’s way too fun to watch his reactions!”

“I guess I am, now that you’ve mentioned it,” Zack replied with a small smile. “So, what do you say, Ravers?”

“Okay, Bishop,” Heather acquiesced. “You’ve got yourself a date, but I get to pick the movie.”

Zack smirked. “Deal.” He agreed as they resumed walking through the crowded streets of Azure Rocks.

“Is it even open in the morning, though?” Heather asked in confusion.

“I think so, Taylor and I used to go there on Saturday mornings a few years back.” Zack replied.

It was a short walk to the movie theater, which was indeed open like Zack predicted. There were few people on the line to buy a ticket, tough, probably due to the unusual time. Heather briefly looked at the list of movies that would begin over the next ten minutes and a wicked smirk grew on her lips.

“I’m gonna get the tickets.” The blue-eyed brunette told Zack, in an excited voice.

“The hell you are,” Zack retorted in a playful tone. “You’ve already paid at the Laundromat, so I’m gonna pay for the tickets.”

“Well, give me the money, then,” Heather insisted, her smirk threatening to get even wider. “I wanna make you a surprise.”

With a raised eyebrow, Zack handed her the money, and after Heather bought the tickets, they headed to the assigned room. There, Zack wasn’t surprised to see very few people scattered through the various seats as he and Heather sat on the very back of the room. At his side, the busty cheerleader looked like she had just been told that Christmas was coming earlier that year.

“Someone’s in a good mood, why?” He asked with a small smile.

“You’ll see, now shush,” Heather replied, grinning madly. “The movie’s about to start.”

Zack turned his head to the screen, and when the first seconds of the movie got underway, a confused expression formed at his face reading the title displayed in big red letters in the middle of the screen.

Which movie Heather chose for them?
