The Raver's cabin

Zack entered the cabin to the smell of Chinese takeout. He looked around the cabin and found it to be empty. He was about to call out when Heather entered the living room. She seemed to be surprised when she saw Zack standing at the door.

"Zack? What are you doing here?" she asked.

"I was let out of the hospital. They said that a familiar surrounding would hopefully run my memory." he explained.

Heather gave Zack a small smile and nodded. "Sure. Make yourself feel at home." Heather told him.

Zack walked towards the staircase and stopped. He turned around to Heather and asked, "um...where is my room?"

Heather hesitated and told him to go to the room all the way to the left. She had secretly cleaned out that room when she found Chloe crying in her room. Figuring that putting them together would cause some tension, she decided to clean out the guest room, in case Zack comes back. Heather mentally patted herself on her back for her smart thinking.

Zack went up the stairs and as he went to "his" room, he heard someone crying. "Sounds like Chloe." he told himself. Zack, being the nice person that he is, decided to move towards Chloe's room and knocked. "Hey Chloe. Are you okay in there?" he asked.

The room immediately got quiet for a few seconds. "Zack!?" came the voice behind the door.

Zack replied, "yeah..."

Chloe stuttered and told him that everything was fine. Zack heard her moving around her room and then opening the door. Her eyes were red and puffy. She had a little snot coming out of her nose which reminded Zack of Chloe when she was little. However, all this made Chloe look really cute.

"Cute!?" Zack told himself. "She is your friend. Don't think of her like this." He hesitated and moved towards her.

Zack gave Chloe a hug, thinking that she needs it. He felt Chloe's arm wrapping around him and hugging him back. Eventually, she pulled back.

"Thanks. I needed that." said Chloe with a hint of a smile on her face. With that, she went back to her room.
