Victoria thinks in the bathroom

Meanwhile, Victoria was at the bathroom in the master room, getting dressed after a shower. The green-eyed blonde decided to go for a walk around the lake, to clear her head after the emotional rollercoaster she went through over the last twelve hours. She looked into her image in the mirror and sighed.

The young woman wasn’t stupid, Vicky knew she was good looking and she supposed the virginal aura she projected to other people only added to the fixation guys seemed to have on her. After all the jerks she dated lately, the blonde thought that Zack could be the one for her. ”But his timing was too lousy,” She argued mentally, Zack waited until he was interested in another girl to admit his feelings for her and she was the one who had to make a move. ”Then he had to become the jerk and kiss Kendra, although I’m not so sure he can be pried away from Heather now, I saw the way they were looking at each other yesterday.” She thought as a tear fell out of the corner of her left eye.

Then Dustin comes back expecting to find her waiting for him, all prim, proper and untouched. Victoria could admit that if it wasn’t for the feelings she had developed for Zack, she would have had accepted Dustin’s kiss the previous night. However, it probably was too late for them.

Finally, the unexpected player made a move just that morning, about an hour ago. Brandon, of all people, kissed her, less than a day after a traumatic break up with Ashley, who just happened to be Victoria’s best friend. If the blonde could be frank with herself, even with the fact that he was handsome and good boyfriend material, the kiss scared her. ”What made him do it?” She questioned herself. ”Even if he secretly likes me, he can’t just come and kiss me like that, not so soon after Ash and without knowing how I felt about it.”

”Zack, Dustin and Brandon,” Victoria mused inside her mind. ”All of them wrong for me in different ways, why?”

Their timing was the only answer Vicky could come up with, Zack and Dustin were too late while Brandon made a move way too soon. She sighed again, wondering if someday she would find the right guy without any previous attachment, both from him and from her. ”I guess it’s like I’ve told Zachary yesterday, it all comes down to the right time.”

”I wish I could talk to mom right now, just not over the phone.”

She stepped back into the bedroom wearing a white short-sleeved, buttoned up shirt, jean shorts and a pair of white tennis shoes over green socks. The green-eyed blonde was glad to see that Ashley was still asleep on the bed, as she wouldn’t have known how to talk to her friend after Brandon almost kissed her.

Picking up her bag with the supplies she had gathered before showering, Victoria got out through the back and made her way down the deck, ready to go for her walk.
