Chapter 102 by Duskford Duskford

How are Ashley and Lisa getting along? What does Kendra think of Kurt? What are the others getting up to?

Victoria's lost love

Meanwhile, Victoria and Dustin slowly swayed to the latest song on Hannah’s playlist, his right hand lightly touching her waist as her own hands rested on his shoulders. Her emerald-green eyes peered up at him as the corner of her lips curled up.

“You do realize we’re slow dancing to a fast song, don’t you?” She asked with a smile.

Dustin grinned and shrugged. “And you do remember I don’t exactly enjoy those fast songs, don’t you?” He replied, playfully raising an eyebrow. She was everything he remembered, and after being away from her for seven months, he couldn’t get enough of his sweet ex-girlfriend.

Vicky chuckled. “Yeah, me too.” She said while Dustin twirled her.

His gaze briefly dropped to her backside and his dick stirred at the quick view of her amazing ass clad in those tight jeans she was wearing. ”She got even more beautiful than when I left,” Dustin thought, but quickly pulled himself together. “What? Are you still afraid the almighty god will strike you down if you listen to these types of songs?” He teased, smiling down at her warmly.

Vicky gaped her mouth and hit his arm in a playful manner. “Don’t joke about that, have you forgotten that’s how we met?” She asked in mock anger. “Although I don’t suppose I had too much of a choice, don’t you think?”

Dustin grinned. “True, how’s Reverend Walker doing these days?” He asked. “I gotta say I miss our heated debates.”

“He’s okay, the church keeps him occupied and mom helps him in any way she can,” Victoria answered. “But I guess that if you ask him, he may resent you deep down because of me not helping there too much as I used to.”

About a year ago, Victoria and Dustin met at her father’s church and they quickly hit it off, starting to date a month later. Her parents were very happy that she was a relationship with such a nice boy and incentivized it as much as they could. Then, two months later, one before Dustin’s family moved away, he began to question his spiritual beliefs to the point of becoming an atheist.

Surprisingly enough, that fact didn’t generate friction with Vicky’s parents, who allowed for their relationship to continue. The unexpected side effect was that, after several chats between the two of them, Victoria began to see some merit on a few of Dustin’s viewpoints. Before her parents could blink, the damage was already made, and even if she didn’t go to the same **** Dustin had, her life became a lot more balanced between religion and her studies as a result. Her grades, which were tied with Zack’s for best of their year, got even higher and baffled the teachers.

“My mom still has a soft spot for you, though,” Victoria smiled up at him. “She’s always going on about what a nice little kid you were.”

Dustin chuckled and then his face became way more serious than a few moments ago, although his brown eyes still had that warm gaze Vicky got so used during their time together.

“What about you?” He whispered softly.

Victoria felt herself melting away at that question. Meeting Dustin again had been on her mind for so long that, had the past week never happened, this night could very well fall into the magical category. Her green eyes found Zack for a second, the boy for whom she was falling very fast, sandwiched between Heather and his sister dancing away without a care in the world.

Dustin seemed to have followed her eyes and sighed. “You found someone else, didn’t you?”

His calm and controlled voice made Victoria’s lips tremble, making her look down at their feet before lifting her eyes again. “Yes.” She answered in a whisper, a single tear falling down her left eye.

The younger Lewis actually let out a small smile. “May I ask who?”

Vicky took a deep breath as he twirled her again. “Zack.” She finally answered.

He chuckled. “Makes sense that intelligent people end up flocking together, he’d be good for you, I guess,” Dustin said, sneaking a glance to where Zack was. He frowned at what he saw. “But he’s dancing with Heather and his sister.”

The blonde sighed. “It’s complicated,” She admitted. “He had a crush on me for two years and we got close on this trip, but Heather ended up between us somehow.”

“Well, the gentlemanly thing for me to do now would be to step away, but I can’t do that,” Dustin said in a serious voice, holding Victoria’s gaze with his own. He wanted nothing more than to lean in and kiss her, but he managed to hold himself. “So, Victoria Claire Walker, if you decide that complicated is not for you, you know where to find me.”

He then deposited a kiss on her forehead and walked away on the bathroom’s direction, leaving behind a green-eyed blonde with a cruel war waging inside her head, with her heart being the ultimate prize.

What will happen to the two of them from now on? And what about the other, what's happening with the rest of them?
