The ride home.

Lisa slowly pondered to herself on the car ride home. "What should I do?" That was the question that she was asking herself during the entire car ride. The car jerked forward suddenly and Lisa looked at her father in the front with a stern look on her face.

"Sorry. I thought I could go through the light before it turned red. Bad habit." he explained.

The only sound in the car was the tailgate ticking and Zack lightly snoring next to her. "Zack. The one person that is the cause of all my grief." smiled Lisa. As they waited for the light, Carlos said "Crazy relationship between the two of you."

Lisa just nodded as her father looked at her through the rear view mirror. "Yeah. Can get even crazier later on." she whispered. She felt guilt, happiness, and anger all at the same time.

Her father sighed and turned around in his seat. "Look. I think we both know that Zack was in a relationship before being admitted to the hospital. When we found out that he lost his memory, you jumped at the opportunity to get back together. I'm not gonna judge but it seems like an asshole move in my opinion. But you both are adults now and will make your own decisions. I won't be there to guide you through every major life choices but you should talk to Zack. Will save everyone and the mystery girl a lot of pain and suffering."

Lisa let out a huge sigh and replied with a meek, "I know." The car started moving again and the ride was filled with awkward silences. Lisa put her head in her hands and thought about all her life choices up to this point. Amazing what one can think about in a awkward car ride. The car stopped in front of Heather's cabin. Zack woke up and thanked Lisa's father. He got out of the car and gave Lisa a kiss. "I'll see you later." he whispered in Lisa's ear.
