The Presentation: Positive reception
The presentation goes better than either of you expected. The regional numbers land cleanly. The conversion projections hold up under every question Duncan and the partners throw at them. Cheryl’s sections are sharp and precise; yours close the gaps she had been needling you about all week. By the time the final slide fades the room is nodding, the client representatives are already discussing next steps, and the quiet competitive tension that has defined the last fortnight has, for the moment, resolved into shared success.
Duncan offers a rare, genuine congratulations on the way out. The partners disperse. The conference room empties until only the two of you remain, gathering laptops and the last of the printed decks. Cheryl waits until the door has fully closed before she looks at you properly. The professional mask is still in place, but underneath it the same private heat from Conference Room B is already rising.
She steps closer, voice low enough that it will not carry into the corridor.
“You smashed it. Exactly as required. Which means I owe you exactly what I promised.” She glances at the table, then at the glass walls still showing the empty outer office. “I have been thinking about how to celebrate properly. Not another quick fuck over the table. Something slower. Something that makes use of the fact that the whole floor will be clearing out for the long lunch Duncan just announced.”
Cheryl reaches into her bag and takes out a small, folded piece of black fabric. She sets it on the table between you without unfolding it fully. The material is sheer, barely there, the kind of thing that would disappear under ordinary office clothes and leave almost nothing to the imagination once those clothes came off.
“I brought these,” she says. “I am going to go to the bathroom, put them on, and come back. Then you are going to lock the door, sit in that chair, and watch me take everything else off while I tell you exactly how many times I have touched myself this week thinking about the way you filled me. After that you can decide whether you want me on my knees under the table while the rest of the office eats lunch, or bent over it again with those knickers pulled to the side, or sitting on your cock facing the glass so anyone who walks past the long way might catch the outline of what we are doing. I have not decided yet which one I want more. I am open to suggestions.”
She picks up the folded scrap of fabric, meets your eyes with complete clarity, and adds one final creative detail.
“And this time I am not on any deadline about babies or husbands or pulling out. You can finish wherever you want. Inside me. On me. Down my throat. I will take it and thank you for it. That is how I plan to celebrate. Your move.”
Cheryl turns and walks out toward the bathrooms, the small black bundle in her hand, leaving you alone in the conference room with the successful presentation, the empty chairs, and the very clear knowledge that the celebration she has just outlined is already underway.
