The last green refuge

On an island on the final frontier of the human empire lies the last small tribes of Orcs and Goblins. These creatures have been hunted and exterminated by the human empire. While the rest of their brethren died off they continued to exist on this island. The humans have attempted many times to exterminate them but failed. The Island is difficult and dangerous to approach. Even getting ships near enough for a landing is difficult.

The elusive nature of these creatures means that the humans do not know much about these creatures and how they operate. They assume they are like the rest of their kind. Normal brutes that rely on strength. But what they do not realize is that this island is steeped in magic. And the last of the Orcs and Goblins have evolved and been changed by the Island.

The most powerful expedition yet from the Human navy is approaching this island to take them down. Someone will wash up on the shore of the Island. Who are they, Will they be captured and what will their fate be?

(I am a first time writer and am creating this story to try my hand at writing. Don't expect too much or much consistency.Feel free to make some lore changes but just make it clear in your branch.
