Go to your dorm

Doug is the first guy I really meet. He’s thin, awkward, and wearing a pair of oversized glasses, with his bed already buried beneath textbooks, notebooks, and random gadgets. He starts talking almost immediately, jumping from one obscure topic to another with an enthusiasm that’s impossible to miss. He’s definitely the resident nerd, but there’s something oddly likable about him.

Jeff is the easiest to talk to. He’s relaxed, friendly, and pretty much your average college guy. He’s got a girlfriend who also goes to the university, so we immediately have that in common. He seems responsible enough, but still knows how to have a good time. He’s the kind of roommate I can see myself hanging out with regularly.

Chase is completely different. He’s confident, athletic, and carries himself like nothing really bothers him. He has that naturally cool presence that draws attention without him having to try. He gives me a quick handshake, smirks, and tells me there’s a party tonight. Something tells me Chase is going to be the one who gets us into trouble this year.
