Finally, sunshine

After eating some protein bars, Zack returned to the living room. He looked out the window and saw the sunlight shining through. "Crazy weather today. Storm and then clear skies." thought Zack. He stepped outside onto the porch and breathed in the fresh air. He came back inside with an idea.

"HEY GUYS! WANT TO GO ON A HIKE?" screamed Zack.

Gavin looked at him and just shook his head with a chuckle. "You don't need to be so loud, man."

Heather and Victoria came downstairs and glared at Zack. "Can you please be quiet!?" said a irritated Heather. Brandon and Ashley came bouncing down the stairs.

"Sorry. I was just excited to be able to go out." Zack sheepishly replied.

Victoria just rolled her eyes before she finally said yes. Heather, Gavin, Brandon, and Ashley all agreed to accompany Zack on his hike. "I hate being locked up in a house because of Mother Nature." said Heather. Zack turned towards Chloe. "You coming with us?" Chloe just shook her head and said, "No. I'm still kinda tired from before." She gave Zack a wink which Gavin interrupted with a cough.

The rest of the gang decide to pack up for the trip while Chloe made some sandwiches for the group. She handed it to Zack. "Just in case you come back late and you guys are hungry. And you'll need all the energy you can get when you come back." said Chloe, followed by a smack to Zack's butt. Zack just chuckled and went outside with his friends.
