Who's the boss?
Jessica Leora
Steven walked up to the office of Jessica Leora. He was already an incredibly anxious person, but meeting his boss for the first time was making him shake. It had been his first job since he worked a month at Spirit Halloween years ago. What if she was an asshole? What if she hated him? He'd heard so many stories from his friends about shitty bosses, it terrified him. But there was nothing else to do except for enter the office.
Behind a dark oak desk sat a very beautiful woman. She was younger than he expected, looking like she was in her late 20s or early 30s at most. She had a pretty face with pink glossy lips, and seemingly light make up. Her ginger hair was put up in a bun behind her, and her white button up shirt showed off slight cleavage. Unlike the other women in the office who had huge proportions, Jessica was a bit smaller. She was still sexy, and definitely had a large chest, but she was more fit than soft. She was also very tall, compared to the other women. As Steven entered the room, she gazed at him, smiling.
"Hello, I assume you're Steven, correct?. I'm Jessica Leora. I'll be your boss here at BimCorp." She extended her hand for Steven to shake, looking at him with a cheery smile. She was much friendlier than Steven had expected. His anxiety was easing up now.
"It's uh, nice to meet you, Miss Leora. Thank you for hiring me." He pulled out a chair in front of her desk. "I'm excited to work here, to be honest." He looked around the office. It was pretty nice. She had a book shelf full of tons of books, a stereo system and record player, and a loung chair and coffee table. Her desk was neat, with little to no clutter except for the form she was writing on. It seemed like she did most of her work on her computer. To the right was a door to a connected office, with all of it overlooking the city streets.
"Of course. This is your first job in a while, correct?" Steven nodded. "Alright, then. Don't be anxious. Today you don't have many responsibilities, just setting some expecations and outlining what will be required of you moving forward." She opens a drawer and pulls out a series of papers and forms, before handing some to me. "You've went over the internet copy of the contract correct? This is the physical form. Feel free to look over it." Shit. Steven had forgotten to look over the contract. Surely nothing weird was in it, right? He skimmed through the physical version, looking for anything that might stick out as weird, and found nothing out of the ordinary. "Once your done signing that, we can go over your duties as my secretary." Steven quickly signed his name on the line. It was official.
"Great! Hm...where to begin. Generally, you'll just be doing things I ask of you. Grabbing things for me from other offices, answering phone calls, filing, answering emails, scheduling, notes during meetings. Nothing too strenuous." She maintained her cheery attitude, but it was unlike the interviewer. She had an elegance to her. She was confident, and smart. "I don't think of myself as a cruel woman, but I do have high expectations. I won't make you do anything insane, nor do I ask for perfection, but I expect you to try your best at all times. Failure to meet my expectations can be met with punishment. Do you understand?" She looked at him expectantly. Punishment? That was a weird way to put it...whatever.
"Yes, Miss Leora. I understand." Steven replied. He was feeling a bit anxious again, something Miss Leora seemed to notice.
"Don't be worried, Stevie. I'm sure you'll do great." Stevie? I just met this woman and she's giving me a nickname? "Lets move on to the dress code. This wasn't outlined in the contract, but it is something I expect of my secretary. The clothes you are wearing at the moment are fine, but I expect..." She paused, and looked as if she was deep in thought. "I expect your taste might change soon, working under me. Luckily, working for BimCorp gives you special discounts at clothing stores we own. The most important wardrobe change, however, is this." She opens another drawer and pulls out a pink contraption. "I'm sure you noticed that our company tends to employ very...well endowed individuals. In order to avoid unnecessary distractions, this will be used to prevent erection." She places the cage in front of him, and holds a tiny key. "I know this sounds bizarre, but trust me. It will be very beneficial for your productivity."
