Why do you hate him?

"I've held my tongue long enough. But he's my best friend and i can't put up with this anymore. Why the fuck are you so mean to him?" An ice cold stare from Kelly slightly intimidates Tia to the point she is very concerned that Kelly may drown her. Tia looked around. There was no one near her.

"Can you keep a secret?" Tia whispered to Kelly. Kelly sat their puzzled. "Um sureee?" She said in a state of confusion. "No i need certainty. I need to be sure you won't tell because if you do you'll ruin a plan and (your name) will be very pissed with you". Tia pleaded with Kelly. "Fine i'll keep it quiet. What is it". Tia takes a deep breath.

"Me and (your name). We kind of patched it up last night. We're cool now. I bullied him because i liked him" Kelly scoffs. "Then why are you still being an arse?" Tia blushed. "It's so we can keep the same hotel room and not get split up." Kelly goes back to her puzzled face. "But why? There would be no reason for to platonic pe..." then she stops. She looks at Tia who gives a shrug and a sly smirk. Kelly's head goes to Tia, then you at the side of the boat then back to Tia who's smiles a little bit wider. Then the penny drops

"FUCK OFF NO WAY" Kelly screams Tia covers her mouth as people look at the 2 of them. "Sorry. Showed her a tiktok" everyone took that as the truth and went back to what they were doing. "Keep it down." Tia scolded. "But... yes way." Kelly composes herself. "So you mean you and him..." she did the sign language with the hole and her finger. "Kind of. We didnt go that far. Well we had no condoms." The girls chuckle.

Then Kelly grins at Tia. "It's huge isn't it?" Tia gasps and shoutingly whispers "GURL IT WAS PRACTICALLY THE LENGTH OF MY FACE" she chuckles. Kelly slightly shoulder barges her. "I know right. 8.2 inches he said." Tia smirked. "I joked it was always 8 but im so hot i made it 8.2." Kelly giggled at this "but honestly" Tia smiled. "I think its normally 8 but it was 8.2 for the both of us" Kelly nodded in agreement. She then reached into her pocket and pulled out 2 condoms. She hands them to Tia. Tia smirks at her. "And why have you given me these?"

Kelly looked down. "I was... tonight i was gonna go to his room and well offer to swap with you. I was then gonna you know. Have a holiday romance with him. But he's not the cheating type and im not a homewrecker." A tear hits the floor. Tia hugs Kelly. "You're in love with him aren't you." She trying to comfort her. Kelly laughed. "Kind of. In a sense i suppose you could say that. It was more going to be one last ride." She looked at Tia. "You ok with a weird theory?" Tia smiled. "Of course hit me." Kelly composed herself. "I don't really believe in soul mates. I believe that God gives us free will. But that he's also got a plan for all of us. So i think he has 3-5 people who we could end up with depending on how life goes." She stops and looks at you. No idea this convo is going on. Just staring out on to the river. "This life it just wasn't meant to be him. We tried, we both wanted to make it work. But..." she starts tearing up again and Tia pulls her in for a hug. "You just were meant to be platonic weren't you." Kelly nods. "We cried like babies when we broke up. We only dated a month but we both knew we only had platonic feelings for each other. Friends with benefits was gonna be the best we could get. We both wanted it to happen but you can't force love... at least not love like that." Tia rubbed her shoulder. "If it was a tv show i'd have been crying too. Im always big on the childhood friends to lovers story arc" Kelly laughed hard at that

Tia kept hugging her and handed her a tissue. "I'm gonna look after him for you. He's safe with me. If thats a comfort." Kelly looks up and nods. "It is. Ironically i'd rather be someone that came into his life after our relationship. I couldn't handle it being someone else from my childhood. So yeah please. Take care of him" Kelly hugs her back. "He deserves the world" Kelly says releasing the hug. "I'm going to give it to him" Tia smiles back wiping a tear from Kelly's eye. The boats radio comes on and Katy Perry's 'The One That Got Away' starts playing and the girls keel over laughing. "You're fucking with me seriously of all the songs" Kelly grinned. Tia looked at her. "You gotta laugh" Tia grinned and hugged her again.

You come back over to see the girls happily chatting. "What on earth happened while i was gone?"
