You arrive at the River

After a couple of close calls almost getting caught holding hands by the girls you arrive at the River Seine. You get off the coach. Tia whispers "im gonna try trip you down the stairs. Hold the railing when i say "oh come on." You nod.

As predicted when trying to get down the stairs Tia growls "Oh come on" Tia's foot connects with yours. However, you grip the railing and prevent yourself from falling. "That's enough Tia" Mrs Turner says sternly watching you trip. You shoot a look back at her and as no one can see your face you make a kissy face at her. She very nearly breaks but holds her stern tone.

You are walking along the river down the river is very open on the this side. If she was still a bully Tia could easily push you in. Then you realise. Tia is meant to be a bully. You start to think about what you can do. You only feel there is one option.

You whisper only so she can hear. "Follow my lead and trust me." Tia continues to face forward but slightly nods. With that you hold her hand again. Polly coos from behind. "Awwwwww you're holding hands" Tia blushes. "It's a necessary evil." You respond. Tia looks at you with rage. "WHY ARE YOU HOLDING MY HAND?" She growls. "Because he likes you" Jessica taunts. You turn around. "NO. It's for my safety. I know she wants to push me in the river. I don't want that so if I hold her hand then she can't push me in without me dragging her in." Tia looks at you still angry but faces forward again. "Fine. But only because it also means you can't throw me in either." Her menacing tone only undercut to you by the slight warm smile on her face.

"Booooooo" Polly said sadly. "Just get together already." She joked. You both made wretching sounds as you continue to walk. Getting to hold hands like you wanted.

Eventually you arrive at the boat. You all board. You both make a big deal about making a truce not to trip the other one while getting onboard. Eventually you sat down. Everyone was up and about walking around but the 2 of you were in a row of 3 with Kelly. It was awkward after the earlier confrontation. As the boat sets off you tell the 2 you're gonna have a walk around. As you get out of earshot. Kelly turns to Tia.
