Interesting choices

"Okay," You say, leaning back from your computer. "How do these look?"

"Interesting choices." Drake says. The four remaining powers in your document are shapeshifting, extrasensory perception, hyper-cognition, and multipresence. "Tell me a bit about how you imagine using them. Right now they're just words, which can be interpreted different ways. It'll be easier for me to make a plan if I know what they mean to you."

"Well, first is shapeshifting..." You start. "I want to be able to change my appearance at will, copying others or just making up new appearances. Plus, you know, stretching or growing or shrinking or whatever as needed. I want to be able to shape myself to be whatever I need to be. Ideally also including clothing and, like, regeneration or fixing injuries and stuff. If that isn't a separate power."

"Second is ESP. I'm thinking basically extremely enhanced senses. Sensing people's emotions, detecting if they're lying, and a bunch of sensing stuff like scopaesthesia, clairvoyance, clairaudience, danger sense, or some sort of spatial sense where I can detect everything within a certain distance from me."

"Third is hyper-cognition. I'm picturing having a perfect memory with the ability to read and learn things very quickly. Especially when learning languages and dialects. I also want this to include adomopathy and self-hypnosis, again if those aren't considered separate powers."

"And fourth is multipresence. I want to be able to make copies of myself with all the copies essentially sharing one mind."

"Hmmm..." Drake thinks. "You mentioned sensing emotions. Do you also want to read people's thoughts?"

"No." You say quickly. "Sensing emotions feels like it would be way more socially acceptable than sensing thoughts. If anyone finds out I can read thoughts, suddenly nobody trusts me at all. Plus I imagine I'd learn a bunch of stuff I don't want to know. I like the idea of having advanced senses, but actual mind reading seems like a step too far."

"Okay. And you also mentioned self-hypnosis but not just hypnosis in general. Was this for the same reason?" Drake asks, and you confirm he is correct. "This... all seems pretty doable. ESP and hyper-cognition are realatively simple to start off with, and there's a few different ways we can go with shapeshifting depending on your priorities, but the biggest sticking point is definitely going to be multipresence. Tell me, have you ever heard of something called the inverse law of ninjas?"
