What are you
Medithrow: A Sorcerer on a quest.
Author note: this doesn't really fit the Dragon, Princess, or knight premis but it does fit the world and doesn't fit my other stories.
You were travelling on the road. You were a travelling sorcerer with a summoned steed. Your companion, Arvis, a young knight on a mission to prove herself road a stocky pony besides you. You were deep in thought as the steed plodded along the road.
“That thing is an insult to equines.” A cocky, arrogant voice interrupted your thought. It belonged to a chestnut centaur. He must have joined at the crossroads just a mile back. Trailing behind him were three centauresses: a skewbald, a bay and a black. All 4 of them wore no clothes. “I challenge you to race.” The chestnut one said to you.
“A race. I am interested.” You replied. “Where would be the finish line, what are the parameters?” You asked.
“First, my name is Arrow, because I am as swift as one. So think carefully before you accept. I know there to be village down the road, just round the corner. I will race you to the village square; it’s straight down the road. If you win, you may take one of the mares in my herd. They were all won from other centaurs that thought they could beat me, and you’re just a man on a fake horse.” Arrow bragged.
“Yes, Oh, swift Arrow. You won us, and we are happy to be your prize.” The thee centauress cheered him on. One, the skewbald, added. “I will be your batting chip. I like the look of this human and wonder if he could win me from you.”

“Well, If I win. I get your woman, you can keep her pony, it looks like it would serve you better.” Arrow laid down the terms.
“Well, she is not MY woman. She belongs to herself. She is not mine to bet.” You replied.
“Well, this arrogant brute insults my honour and your skills of summoning.” Arvis interjected. “It is true that I am my own, independent woman. I will join you in the race. If you win, you can have my pony and me. If we win, we will both take one of these lovely ladies from you.”
“Arvis, what are you doing.” You whispered to her.
“I trust in your skills with magic, there was no rule mentioned against using it. If I am wrong I deserve to be some centaur’s trophy.” Arvis whispered back.
“Well, normally, I don’t let a filly, such as yourself compete. What would you even do with a mare? You can’t please them like a stallion.” Arrow replied to Arvis’ challenge.
“I am sure one of your mares will be happy to see just how well a lady can treat them.” Arvis replied to Arrow.
“You can do it, Arrow!” the bay centaur cheered him on. “Beat them both and win us another companion. Show the little filly how a stallion makes them a mare.”
“I will put myself up as the prize for the lady.” The black centauress added.

“OK, I agree to those terms. If you win, you can take Star and Tamba. If I win, I get the lady and her pony.” Arrow outlined the stakes.
