Use your power to force him to order something ?
"Suggest" He order a lot of stuff
Magic doesn't exist, but Scarlet convinced you that you are special because of her. So you try it. You focus your gaze and concentrate on your speech as you begin to speak to the elderly man.
"Are you sure I couldn't interest you a rich juicy Deluxe Burger platter... or a large chocolate milkshake. I'll make sure they're extra specially made just for you." You say with suggestive tones to your voice, making the man take a moment to ponder what you just said.
"Yeah, alright. You sold me, I'll try all of that." He says seemingly spaced out and not quite all there.
"Excellent, I'll have it all right out to you!" You say happily. You go back and get to work on the milkshake, and about 8 minutes later you bring him out his burger. The old man greedily eats it all down and seems to enjoy it quite a bit. Once he's done the old man finally gets up and leaves. The tip is only 10% but at least it's better than a 10% tip on coffee only. The rest of the day finishes without incident, but due to the slow day your take home earnings weren't what you'd like.
Your silent express your gratitude to Scarlet's power that helped you, falling in her trap. A waitress giving some attention to an older lonely man ... it was an easy sell. The grumpy man just wanted a little attention. But for you, that was something special.
Your return home, and practice a little more your Guitar skills. Now trying to use your "powers". The secret is always the focus. The more you keep your concentration on an activity, the it improves. The same is true for your fingers. Instead of trying to switch between complex chords, your focus makes you more attentive to the details. You are unconsciously playing easier chords at low speed, without big changes. You improve your basics, and as a result you are really playing better.
After that you spend a few hours cleaning, and singing. Because of you new "powers", you understood that you could train your voice while doing home tasks. For a moment you wonder if you should sing your "magic" while serving the tables.
It's a lot of work, but with a busy mind, and the music excuse you make a lot of progress. (60%). The secret for magic is ... progressive hard work. Is time to sleep, and your "magic" helps you to relax.
