What's next?
Pedestrian Labor
Having opened the envelope, you were disappointed to see how right you were in your assumptions about what your father had coerced you into doing. For as much as he talked about you making a name for yourself, establishing your reputation and skill as an accomplished wizard, he seemed to be actively working against his own goals with these boring, menial tasks. It was not, as it turned out, scouring for rats in a tavern basement.
It was, it turned out, somehow worse. Trying to create some more arable land for farming and grazing, you'd been asked to help move clear the land of the large debris and impediments. With your spells and magic, it would take you but a few moments to do what it would take hours, if not days, of digging and heavy lifting to clear. There was clearly a need for it, and you recognized the utility of the action, and yet you couldn't stop how it made you feel. Never mind the fact that it was something you were being brought into against your will. It was the irony of the fact that the work felt somehow beneath you in it's reductive simplicity, and yet it was the idea of your father to do this, who was so desperate to see you rise in fame and be a great hero.
There was a part of you that suspected he didn't even think you became a wizard voluntarily; not that he was around often to see. His ascent to fame was a great distance from home, leaving your mother to raise you alone, assisted by the Pathfinders acting as surrogate fathers. You enjoyed being a wizard and the secrets of magic, you just didn't see the need to go chasing glory and fame like the three generations of Heros and Pathfinders before you.
You'd gone off to the location, only to find that despite the languid journey taken to get there, the farmers and laborers you were supposed to help still weren't even ready. You were on the periphery, debating internally about whether to leave or not, until you were approached by Yuzin, a human lad you'd known for some time. Saying "growing up" together was a strange idea, as you had already been an adult, but you spent his formative years together just as you were working through your years of study to become a wizard. He was strong, like his father before him. He was faithful and loyal to his family to a fault. He'd have a great future as damned near anything, given the opportunity, if not for the simple fact that he felt obliged to stay on the family farm, as his father wished. You'd seen him hover around the Hall of the Pathfinder's Guild often enough, watching the fighters train and spar, to know he sought a future of adventure, or at least dreamt of it. His earnest and simple nature was endearing, and that he was cute in the face was a nice bonus. The two of you have been intimate before, and he'd be one of the closest you'd had to have a real romantic affection for, but had never been a comitted couple.
"Hey there Molerre, sorry this is taking so long" He looked back "family disputes, you know? Every one wants to prove they're the best and smartest, so my dad and them gotta argue bout every little thing."
" Big fish in the tiny pond" You remarked
"Ya, something like that." He looked behind him "They've been at this long, ain't no telling how much longer they're going to be"
You looked over his shoulder, and off to the woods behind you. "they can take their time. I don't think they're even aware we exist right now, which suits me just fine."
"Ya?" He asked, smiling "I see that look in your eye, you've got something in mind."
"Just looking for a way to occupy our time. Come on" Yuzin followed close behind you, hidden by a copse of trees. Out of sight, you gave him a short but strong kiss, pushing your tongue into his mouth, before dropping to your knees.
"Boy, this is a bit of a surprise" He remarked as he watched you pull his cock out "Not that I'd be the type to complain, but normally there's a bit more...courtship, involved to get here."
"Well" you began, "starting to feel like I'm the only one here who knows what they want, and I don't want to wait around for permission. Besides, do you really wanna get caught?" Before you asked, you took his cock in your mouth and started sucking.
"Not partial to that no. Least of all to how my Pa would react to seeing me like this. Don't let me get in your way." He brushed some hair to the side before he put a hand on your head and encouraged your movement as your head bobbed up and down. You liked Yuzin's cock; it was big without straining your mouth, or your other holes. Though you'd rather have him pin you against a tree, or ride him in privacy, you knew from experience this would be a faster way to get him where he wanted to go. You took some pride in the moans you could make Yuzin let out, or the other men you've sucked. Where some thought it demeaning or an uncomfortable place, you instead took it as a place of pride, being able to commit yourself solely to doing something for another person, and in the skill you possessed, clearly able to provide a good deal of pleasure to him.
Pleasure that quickly built in him, and that he impatiently chased after. Grabbing with both hands, he pushed down into your throat harder and faster. You knew from experience what was coming soon, and though you didn't care much for the taste or texture of men's seed, you were willing to deal with it in order to keep letting him feel good and not have his orgasm ruined. As his moans grew louder, you felt a sudden shot of heat in your mouth as it became filled with his cum. Quietly, you took another small point of pride. That he was able to cum this much told you he hadn't done so recently, meaning he was still all yours, presumably.

The two of you quickly made yourselves decent as you returned to the area. The last disagreement settled, or at least put aside for the moment, you were finally able to do what you'd actually been brought out to do. You held your staff in your favored hand, walking back and forth, trying to find the obstructions. Rocks and boulders, even the about the size of a child, you were able to remove with no or little hesitation. Pointing your wizarding staff, the appropriate spell case, the debris and rocky material lifted vertically out of the ground and followed the path dictated, moving them towards the edge of the land. Though it wasn’t asked for, you guided them along each other to try and create another makeshift fence. It would only serve to keep the Halflings and the Dwarves out, and maybe some of the rodents or other small woodland creatures, but it was better on the eyes than merely a large chaotic pile of rubble. You'd quickly lost interest in the work and stopped paying great detail beyond the immediate task in front of you, and almost to your detriment.
“Molerre” You heard shouted behind you “You better come take a look!”. It was Nalyn, Yuzin's quarrelsome father. Unconcerned with the worry in his voice, you walked slowly back to the hole behind you. It was a deeper hole than you anticipated, the boulder seemingly plugged a hole, at least a few feet deep. More important than that, was a large, ovular, smooth object.
“What is it?” The simple farmer asked “That’s no seed.”
“No, it’s not,” You replied dryly, trying to study it for clues.
“Looks like it an egg, doesn’t it?”
“Never seen an egg that big before” You commented, “But there’s one way to find out” sparing the need of you or him clawing your way into the muddy dirt, you used your staff to again lift the object out from the whole. You handed your staff to Nalyn as you grabbed it with both hands, being certain so as to not drop it. It was cold to the touch, as if touching your father’s iron shield. It certainly had the shape one would expect from an egg, though what could lay such a thing boggled the mind.
“Say, you don’t suppose that’s a dragon egg, do you?” He asked, a clear sign of intrigue, and a bit of anxiety.
“Not likely” You remark, still looking at the egg rather than him. “Dragons lay eggs in clutches like lesser lizards, and lay them in wherever their home domain is. This isn’t home to any type of dragons that I know of, and there haven’t been dragons of any type in this area in generations.” You remark “if it is a dragon egg, someone must have been very lucky to have gotten it away it’s from its mother, but unlikely enough to have lost it or had to abandon it.”
“Is it alive?” He asked, getting closer to it. Your eyes finally broke from it to look at him “I really couldn’t say,” You responded with a slight shrug. Though he was asking the questions you wanted to know as well, his outward behavior and uncontrolled exuberance was growing tiresome. “Need to look into this”. He tried to make a grab at it, to which you swiftly evaded.
“I’m sorry?” you responded in an angry tone, surprised by his outburst.
“He’s mine” He replied “I saw the egg first, It was on my land. He’s mine.”
“We don’t even know if this is an egg, for starters.” You retorted “If it wasn’t for me, it would still be there in the ground. The only way anyone is going to find out what this is, is if you I take it with me.”
“Fine” He replied angrily “You better get out of here than,” he shoved your staff back to you, which you held as you struggled holding the metallic object against your body in your other arm “Whatever it is, that belongs to me, you understand? I’m just lending it till you find out what it is.”
“I can’t make any guarantees on that, Nalyn, but I’ll do what I can. I am going to make one expectation clear, if I’m doing the work of figuring this out for you.”
“What!?” He asked in frustration.
“Pay me.”
