Your dreams are
Still stranger
You find yourself walking through a forest that feels deeply familiar, you know what lies behind every tree as you pass it. You feel as though you have walked this path a thousand times. The animals of the forest stop and look at you as you pass, each with a name you know and behaviors you can set your watch to. A bear that you've fish for salmon with nods gracefully at you. Everything is in its place.
In time you come to a clearing and stop in your tracks. There is an owl with antlers that you have never seen before. You didn't think owls could have antlers, but here one is. you stand there dead staring at the owl as it stares back.

You swear your heart stops beating in your chest. After a moment or an eternity the Owl flies off in a flurry of motion. You look around, everything feels off. The trees aren't quite right, the boulders are out of place, you trace back up the way you came tripping over branches that weren't there before. your movements growing more and more frantic as your careful world crumbles around you.
You look to the side and make eye contact with your bear friend, except they've changed.

You run from him but there is no where to run, the world has changed. You feel dizzy at the edge of a pond, your your mouth dry. You reach in, desperate for water and see yourself...
