What happened next?
End of Orientation Day
“Now you have to show me your dick,” Cass laughed, skidding down the gravel to the mess hall.
“No,” I said. “I’ve only known you a day and you’re like a sister to me.”
“That’s too bad.” She spit a stream of tobacco out her clenched teeth. “I give the best head at camp.”
I shook my head. No way this little hick sucked the best dick out of all these experiences college girls. Still I was curious. Maybe she wasn’t lying.
I can’t even remember all the random tasks we completed the rest of the day. A fire extinguisher on every hook. A mattress on every bunk. Wood to every pit. Boxes of food to the freezer. Dirty laundry to the washers.
Every task met with pretty eyes that said ‘Meet me when the sun goes down’.
The girls at camp just wanted me for sex. I convinced myself that was okay. That was the reason I came to Maine. Pure physical relationships. Just sex.
Fuck them until they’re screaming your name, but they still won’t sit at the same dinner table as you.
It was only day one of the counselors, but I had accepted the fact that I wasn’t one of them. I could fuck them. That would have to be enough.
Mara didn’t wave. Maggie didn’t hug. Sierra didn’t look. Everyone else acted like they had never met me. Too obsessed with the boys with gelled hair and popped collared polos. I didn’t bring a collared shirt to camp. These guys knew way more than me. I had just gotten lucky before.
I needed to seize every opportunity.
That night there was a huge bonfire. They sang songs. Performed skits. A real bonding activity for them.
Cass and I sat near the back, ready to run any errand. The office girls sat by us: Jess and Erin.
The big brunette Erin was surprisingly friendly. Seemed shallow that her opinion of me changed based on my condom size.
“I’m from Indiana. Us Midwesterners have to stick together.”
Jess rolled her eyes, “There are people from everywhere. The Americans have to stick together. Tomorrow all the Russians are coming.”
Erin put her hand on my thigh. “Shit! I forgot my hoodie back in the office. Do you mind driving me back on that ATV thing?”
“I’ll take you,” said Cass. A true wingman. I couldn’t have asked for a better best friend.
Erin wet her lips looking into my eyes, “I was hoping you could do it?”
