I stared at Sue’s reply for a few seconds.

Sue:

Be careful, Ryan. Don’t get in too deep with her. Married pregnant women are complicated. Especially when they start catching feelings or making promises they can’t keep.

Sue:

…Also, I’ve been touching myself all night thinking about everything you’ve told me. So thanks for that.

I didn’t reply.

I locked my phone, put it face-down on the nightstand, and wrapped my arm back around Mia. She was still fast asleep, breathing slow and deep, her massive belly rising and falling under my hand. I pressed a kiss to the back of her shoulder and let myself drift off with her body tucked against mine.
