"At least we're safe here."

“I can’t believe those boys played such a mean trick on us,” fumes Lily, as she waits with Beth and Kitty at the top of the waterslide. The three girls are having a day at the Waxford Water Park, a massive complex of pools, rides, slides and splashes that well deserves its title as the most popular summer holiday attraction in all of New Crumpshire. “Just when I was feeling so empowered!”

“At least we’re safe here,” says Kitty. From the top of the Big Trio, they can see the whole park. Thousands of students and tourists are frolicking in the pools and lazy rivers, eating icecream, sunbathing, floating in tubes, enjoying their day out. “Tiffany smashed that anti-bikini field generator to pieces. There’s no way they could make another one!”

“Good. There’s a lot of women here in bikinis, and I wouldn’t want anything to happen. Let’s go, girls!”

The three girls whoop as they hurl themselves down the three slides. They plummet down the tube, squealing with laughter as they soar down slopes and fly through spirals. They don’t even notice when they pass through the specific section of the slide that’s been made the focus of the backup portable anti-bikini field generator which has been hidden in a nearby bush.

“Whee!” Lily cries, as she lands with a splash in the pool at the slide’s end. She hauls herself out of the water, then pauses to look around her. The entire pool is surrounded by students, including several frat boys with waterproof cameras. They seem to be waiting for something.

She looks down.

“Eeeeek!” she says, and ducks back into the water.

The lifeguard, in her official red bikini, blows her whistle. “Clear the landing zone, girls!”

“But…”

“I won’t ask again! Get out of the water, now!”

“This isn’t funny!” complains red-cheeked Lily, as she, Beth and Kitty are **** to climb out of the pool in front of all the laughing students. They stand dripping at the pool’s edge, clutching their bodies and fuming as the waterproof cameras flash. “Bikinis are supposed to be empowering!”

“Then I guess losing your bikini is… you know, the opposite.”

“That makes sense.”
