An argument

"He, like, totally hypnotized you!" Ann squealed.

"Don't be silly, Ann," Makoto said. "If I was hypnotized by Sensei, it stands to reason that I'd know."

"Yeah, but like, what if that's part of the programming?" Ann asked.

Makoto seemed to be processing the words until her programming kicked in and she scrubbed the thoughts from her mind again.

"But I'd have at least remembered the induction process," Makoto protested.

"And I thought I was the airhead," Ann rolled her eyes.
