He knew her as the girl with a massive rivalry going with Ann. Anyone who kept up with the modeling scene in Tokyo knew that they tended to shoot together, or shoot solo and try to one up each other. If he could get her, she would be perfect.

That said, compared to Ann she was considered more intelligent, more ruthless, and a lot less forgiving. He would need to be smart about this if he wanted to get her buy in and hypnotize her.
