Nadia kissed Leon. Sat in his lap. His arms pulling her in. On the couch watching a soap opera — well, half-watching it.
The evening routine of cuddling and talking. Looking into his eyes and seeing real love. Leon really cared for her. Especially in tough moments. He remembered years ago when Alice had died. Nadia had lost so much weight — gaunt and ghostly — not taking care of herself. He had brought her groceries, but she had rejected him.
Nadia was better at receiving love and care. But it still felt weird. Like it she was losing control.
Leon pulled her into a kiss and then whispered in her ear, “You are my favourite person…”
Nadia blushed, “I— I…”
“You are truly something special,” he said, his deep voice doing so much for her hormones.
“You are my favourite too…” Nadia said shyly.
They made out on the couch. Pulling each other close in the dark. His big hands caressing her waist and curves.
“You’ve become more sweet… Quiet and cute,” Leon teased her.
“Cute?” She said.
Then she took a deep breath in.
“Leon, I love you.”
