"Catherine, when you wake from the trance, I want you to be perfectly fine with Shamir's rejection. She's a good friend, and sometimes that's better than a romantic partner."

"Still hurts," Catherine droned.

"I know it does," said Henry. "But it's important you move on. Sometimes the goddess works in mysterious ways. And you need to accept it's not her plan for you and Shamir to be together as a couple."

"So what do I do?" Catherine asked, genuinely.

Henry thought for a bit. He could have her shift her feelings for Shamir to him, but that seemed a bit...mean-spirited. Plus, he wasn't sure if wording it that way would make her hate Shamir and he didn't want that.
