The scream from the center of the greenhouse caught the attention of all three girls. While Dawn and Kim were slow to react, the same couldn’t be said for Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin. “Aggh… fuck…” Cinder raised her head, and looked at the three women staring down at her. Looking down on her.

She started grinding her teeth in frustration. Especially when she saw the amused smirk on the mute assassin’s face.

“What’s so funny!?” She roared, trying to stand up. The second she did, she pitched over again and landed in the middle of the flower field once more. “Stop mocking me, you biiiiitttchh!”

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin covered her mouth. Out of respect, of course. She certainly wasn’t taking perverse pleasure in seeing the other woman squirming in ecstasy or anything.

In contrast, Dawn and Kim were far more concerned for Cinder’s wellbeing. Even now that they knew who she was.

“Cinder, are you okay?” Dawn asked hesitantly.

Kim was the only one here who could sense the danger. “Guys, I think we should get out of here,” she warned. She did feel bad for Cinder, who was clearly having a tough time of things, but she wasn’t sure it was the right move to put all of them in danger just to help her.

“Kim!” Dawn looked at the other woman, aghast. “We can’t just leave her like this!”

“Why not? She’s enjoying herself, isn’t she?” Kim pointed out, gesturing to Cinder’s orgasmic expression.

Dawn opened her mouth to reply but found it kind of hard to actually come up with an argument. “W-well…”

“The flowers did this?” Dawn asked, her eyes widening in alarm. Her tail stood on end and her ears popped up.

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin gave her a sideways look and raised her eyebrow with an expression that seemed to say “Really?”

Kim couldn’t blame her. No kidding the flowers were responsible, what did Dawn think did this? They were in a greenhouse, and Cinder had obviously been doused with a ton of aphrodisiacs.

“Slow on the uptake… are you…? …Fucking bitch…” Cinder growled, struggling to stand back up again, only flop face-first into the flowers once more. “FUCK!”

Kim once again came to the conclusion that their best option at the moment was to cut and run.

Unfortunately, that suddenly became a non-option because the flowers around them were squirming with life, and all of them were moving into position, ready to douse the women with aphrodisiacs.

A spray of aerosolized pollen washed over them, trapping the four women in a cloud of ecstasy-inducing gas. The last thought on Kim’s mind was how she really should have run the fuck away.

The pollen was so thick that she could only make out their silhouettes. Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin bit her lip, scratching at her clothes. She could feel the effects of the aphrodisiac working their way through her system, and it was a strange feeling. She took a deep breath of fresh air, and exhaled.

Now that Kim was safe, they could just leave. But then she saw the way Kim was looking at the cloud of pollen, and she grimaced. No… that wasn’t good enough. Kim wouldn’t leave the other two behind, she was too good of a person for that. And Nick probably wouldn’t either, would he?

Luckily, it was easier to see this time around. She realized that the pollen must have been dispersing. The cloud had only lingered for a couple of minutes, fortunately.

More than enough time for the assassin to find the other girls and bring them to safety.

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin stuck out her tongue in response. A bit of a mistake. The aphrodisiacs might have been dispersing but the air was still thick enough to get a taste of them. Gross.

Ironically, by the time Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin carried the two girls to safety, the cloud had all but faded away. She could have just done nothing and it probably would have achieved the same effect.

But that didn’t matter, because she’d done a good deed! She’d actually helped someone! Three someones!

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin blinked. She sniffed the air, and realized what the other woman was saying. Now that Cinder mentioned it, she DID smell something lingering. But it wasn’t in the air. No, it was…

“It’s in our clothes!” Kim’s eyes bulged out in realization. “Ahn, that… mmf, Cinder, that’s why you were… you were having such a hard time… oooh, earlier… mmnf… fucking… agh…”

Without her brain marinating in aphrodisiacs, she could actually think clearly, and she felt blessed for that fact.

Cinder shook her head in disbelief. “Shit, really?”

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin, in turn, nodded her head in eager approval. She was totally onboard!

Kim looked at the only member of their odd little group who hadn’t returned to her senses yet. Dawn’s sense of smell must have been getting to her thanks to all these aphrodisiacs. It was obvious who the first patient of her little treatment should be.

Hoping that this would help, Kim drew the water out of her own clothes to dry them off, dispersed it, and then conjured another orb of water that she drenched the other woman with.

“Yaaaaoooooowwwwww!” Dawn sprang up into the air like, well, a cat that had just gotten drenched with water. And also like a cat, she managed to land on her feet, hyperventilating in shock as she whirled around, her heart pounding in her chest. “Shit! Fuck! Shit! Fuck! Shit! Fuck!”

In a couple of seconds Dawn had uttered more curse words than Kim had ever heard from her. But at least she was cognizant now, as far as she could tell.

And luckily, Kim could dry her off, too. Once she did, she drenched Cinder and Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin’s clothes with her water powers as well, getting everyone nice and free from the aphrodisiacs.

Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin was positively glowing with gratitude. Cinder was grateful as well, even if she was a lot grumpier in terms of expressing it.

Dawn, in contrast, looked mortified.

“Thanks for saving me,” she mumbled sheepishly, scratching her head and looking down. Her thoughts were still in a fog, but she could at least remember her embarrassing behavior. “That stuff sprayed all over me, and I just…”

“Hey, it’s fine,” Kim assured her friend with a smile. She reached out and took the other girl’s hand. “We’re working together, remember? Helping you is the natural thing to do, Dawn!”

Dawn smiled, and tried to feel better about that, but she couldn’t. Both Augmented Synthetic Humanoid Assassin and Kim had saved her and Cinder from the aphrodisiacs, and she’d been completely helpless.

I was completely blindsided. I didn’t foresee the danger so I couldn’t react in time. Because I’m not as sharp as I used to be. I should have seen those aphrodisiacs coming a mile away, damn it!

Dawn bit her lip. She still had plenty of smarts to work with, but it sure didn’t feel like she had enough.

Then again, maybe she DID have enough… just enough to realize what Dakota was trying to get her to do.

She took away my intelligence so I would be handicapped for this challenge. Given a disadvantage. One that I would need to rely on my transformations to try and overcome. But is that the right thing to do here?

Well… right or wrong, Dawn still had to make a choice. Use her transformations? Or let things continue as they were?
