The Bern Guard

Bern was generally safe. Sometimes there was petty crime. A robbery or mugging. But The Bern Guard stopped any real harm.

The Bern Guard were trained from birth to protect the king and his subject’s. They were adept in sword fighting and light magic.

Tom Gering just graduated from Guardianship School. A young man with spiky black hair and yellow eyes. He got through scraping D+ grades, and as a result started Guard work in a less prestigious area.

Tom sighed. I have to guard the city waste management area… Everyone is gonna start calling me names… The Shit Guard…

The place smelt. He was stationed with one other guard. An older drunken man with long grey hair and stubble.

He slept leaning back on a chair snoring. Gurgling…
