Calling her sister, obviously!

(Robin's POV)

Pieter leaves me alone. Silence.... Sadly, I need to go home at some point. Pieter loves me, and I can stay here as long as I want. But I need to go home and stream. But before I leave, I need to call Chantal to talk about these new, huge developments. I'd better ring her now. "Hi, Chantal, can you call right now?"

"Yeah, sure, Robin, what's up?"

"I have found the boy I had flirted with when I was 13, and we have started dating. Before you say, but he could have changed. He is Pieter."

"So to make it clear in my mind, the boy who treated you as a girl, viewed you as a girl, is Pieter Visser, your friend, DM and now boyfriend. Is he even okay with you being a guy?"

"Well, I had talked about it. He said he doesn't care about what I identify as. He would like it if I dressed more femininely, but he doesn't seem to care about my dick or anything like that, or at least not that we discussed. He seems chill with it. He told me you need to come out to your family and friends. Since you are a LGBTQ+ relative, he said you should be the safest option to talk to first."

"He seems like a supportive dude. I kind of want to meet him now. I want to meet my brother's boyfriend."

"Well, he kind of suggested I might be more comfortable as a woman, or I might have. I have told you before that that summer I felt the most me I had ever felt. I told him, and he basically implied that might mean I am trans or at least not fully identifying as a man or not in love with the idea of male ideals. But I will propose it to him."

"Sure, good plan. Do you think I could ever come visit you at your home?"

"Maybe if I move into Pieter's place, or if we can get mom and dad out of the house for a day or weekend."

"Oooohh, you are already thinking of moving in with him, cute. But it might be good to get them out of the house for a day or two. We could use their anniversary as an excuse to give them a weekend away. When was that again?"

"In months, sadly. I will check with mom and dad if I can move them out."

"Wait, we did all of the things that weird app on my phone asked me to do. What was it again? Whatever, I deleted it from my phone."

"LifeQuest?"

"Yes! How did you know?

"Pieter installed it on my phone as a motivator. I don't know what it is or who or what the QuestMaster is. But both of our quests for us seem to actually want to help us get to know the people around us. They were talking about the things I wanted to talk about yesterday with Pieter, with Pieter and it led to our relationship. Yours was to get to know me and try to come see me at home, I guess. Those are kind things to ask of a person."

"Fair, do you think you can send me a copy of the APK?"

"I will try to. Give me a moment." I fiddle with the app, and I can't find the way to send it. I go into the program files, and there I find the APK and send it to her. "Did you get it?"

"Yep, it is reinstalling. Everything is the same, and the XP has been added; it recognised that I completed it."

"Maybe through my app?"

"Fair, that must be the reason. I will be more lenient to the weird app and hope it will help bring our parents and us together. Wait, if they are ambivalent about my sexuality.... I will go onto an old account and message mom.... Mom is not a dick to me about Katrien. She just said call more and quit being a tortured artist. That is such a huge improvement. Ambivalence is the closest they ever ended up being supportive. We can just agree to meet at our parents' place."

"How was the reward worded?"

"I believe ambivalence about your sexuality."

"That might not work for me if it said your sexuality. But you got a reward like this. That must mean I can get a quest with a similar reward. But we have a path forward. Talk to you later, okay?"

"Yeah, bye."

"Bye," I said, hanging up and finally getting dressed and heading to my parents' place. Pieter's already feels more like home than there, though, but all of my setup remains there. I hope this will be good enough for us.
