Is Repentance Even Possible

Chapter 1 by Sssex2 Sssex2

Annie recited the motto

We are daughters of our Heavenly Father, who loves us, and we love Him. We will “stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places” as we strive to live the Young Women values, which are:

Faith,

Divine Nature,

Individual Worth,

Knowledge,

Choice and Accountability,

Good Works,

Integrity,

and Virtue.

We believe as we come to accept and act upon these values, we will be prepared to strengthen home and family, make and keep sacred covenants, receive the ordinances of the temple, and enjoy the blessings of exaltation.

She didn’t know how many times over the last 18 years she had stood with the other young women of her word and recited these words. And yet she hadn’t lived them. For years and years, she had kept a dark secret to herself. A sin that she can no longer live with. If she was going to embody the values taught to her by her parents, she would have to seek repentance. she had just turned 18 and would be leaving for college within the next year. With such an important transition in her life fast approaching, she knew she needed to seek forgiveness. It was for this reason that she she had arrived dressed in her Sunday Best at her local meeting house to meet with her Bishop. Hopefully with his help she will be able to remove the stain from her soul that would prevent her from returning to heaven to live with her Heavenly Father.

How will Danielle seek forgiveness?
