Jenna, the best friend's daughter

Jenna tapped on her laptop as she sat, watching a movie with her father. She was working on a new chapter for the story she was writing, and was hoping that she could get it finished before she went to bed so that she could do a quick editing pass on it during her morning classes before she went to her afternoon shift at the restaurant. If she did that, she'd have the chance to pass it off to Andrew to get his opinion as soon as he got in. She was writing a particularly intimate scene, and part of her hoped she'd be around to see him read it, since she enjoyed seeing his ears go slightly red whenever she gave him such a scene to read. She wondered how red he'd get if he found the stuff that she didn't share with him or anyone else and kept on a secret drive.

Her father had first introduced her to Andrew a few years after her mother had left them, but it wasn't until she started working at the Roost in college that she'd really gotten to know the man. She'd quickly grown attached to how he would always listen to her telling him about the stories that she was reading without the sort of glossing over that all her friends did. And then, when she started writing, he was always willing to not only read what she had written, but honestly tell her what he thought and suggest new things for her to read or watch.

She hoped he would be coming into work the next day. The mood at the Roost had been getting steadily less lively over the past few years but, for her, it was always at its worst when Andrew was off on one of his trips. She couldn't help herself from looking up at her father every time he got a buzz on his phone, only to feel a bit of disappointment when he rolled his eyes, a clear sign that it was Delia, not Andrew who had messaged. She'd taken a look at the directions from the hotel on the itinerary Andrew had sent her father and their city and realized that there was an exit that might have been easy to miss that might have resulted in him going deeper into the mountains, rather than through the pass which would allow him to get home. If he had missed that, then he would likely have to turn around or eventually find himself heading the completely wrong direction. She was considering sending him a message of her own to him to check to see if he had made the necessary turn when there was a bright flash of light.

In the next circle a young woman in her early twenties appeared. Her pose was much like her father, seated, with a laptop on her lap, and it seemed likely to everyone looking that they had probably been together when they’d gotten whisked away. She was a beautiful girl dressed in flannel pajama pants and an anime t-shirt. She’d inherited her father’s pale skin and long, wavy dark hair that came to her lower back, but the rest of her was the same petite, buxom vixen that her mother had been on the few occasions Andrew had met her at barely over five feet tall.

“Jenna Isaac is currently a 23-year old Master's student pursuing a degree in literature in one of the local universities, which she chose so she could stay close to her dad. She loves reading and writing science fiction, fantasy, and romances, and has recently developed a mild obsession with anime. She met Andrew through her father and now considers him a friend as well. In addition to her school work, she works part-time as a hostess at the Raven’s Roost in the restaurant section. Despite her adorable face and delectable figure, she is single and has never dated. For our next contestant, we're getting another member of the store's restaurant team. One of our other contestants will be happy to see Sebastian!"
